I am, Regina Dijkstra, an Interior Designer based in Oegstgeest, the Netherlands.
Having been an expat myself for twenty years, I know how important it is for you to create a home that truly feels like your own. I will help you to achieve this.
I will create an interior design plan that brings a sense of belonging and cohesion to your home. I listen, reflect, design, present and help you realize your personal interior design.
About Me
When I was seven years old my family and I moved to the Middle East. Here, mostly in the Emirates, I grew up among people of many different nationalities. After twenty years I moved back to the Netherlands. I still am influenced by the magic of places like Dubai, it’s a cultural melting pot that I can only describe it as a diverse collection of ‘microworlds.’ This is what inspires me, creating spaces that answer to your 'vibe.' After all, we are about more than what’s on trend!
My passion for visual aesthetics extends the field of interior design. I have painted for many years, and also studied Communication and Multimedia Design. Besides this I do surface pattern design and create bespoke products, and I am into (interior) photography.

Van nature ben ik geneigd overal kleur in aan te brengen en dan het liefst felle, vrolijke kleuren. Zo kwam het ook dat ons huis barstte van de kleuren: turquoise, paars, oranje, groen, grijs, zwart en veel roze door het speelgoed van onze dochters. We vonden het zelf ‘te druk’ in de woonkamer en vroegen Regina om advies. Zij heeft ons laten zien welke kleuren we allemaal gebruiken en vooral dat dit er dus heel veel zijn…. Samen met haar zijn we op zoek gegaan naar een wat rustiger kleurenpalet en sfeer voor onze woonkamer. Door haar duidelijke uitleg en persoonlijke benadering konden we haar adviezen goed toepassen en zijn we heel tevreden over het resultaat!

Regina Dijkstra did the new design for my daughter's room. My daughter's room was transformed from a place that was disorganized and patchwork into a beautiful, warm and inviting space. Our original request with Regina was more storage space and she absolutely meet this request. However, I can not emphasize enough that we got so much more than more storage space with Regina's design! The new room looks amazing to us. We were also pleased with how mindful Regina was to stay within our budget. She also incorporated the keepsakes my daughter loves in the new design. Regina really listened to us.
